                                 ALEXANDER OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

                                                                 Howdy Y'all!

You have just entered the Red Neck Zone!  We are a family that loves to get outdoors and enjoy God's creation.  Some think it strange that Bethany and Glory were 6, and 7 years old when they tracked their first deer. We don't!  Some think it strange that last year we (the entire family) processed 6 deer (from field to freezer) into sausage, salami sticks, jerky, burger, steaks, roasts, and stew meat. We don't! Some think it strange that before Luke's third birthday he went on his first men and boys campout  and was involved in all of the activities. We don't! Some think it strange that we are presently shopping for material for camo skirts for the upcoming gun season for the girls. We don't! Some think it strange that my 125 lb. wife (mother of 5) sits in a tree for a week every year and bow hunts. We don't! The truth is, we don't care what the liberals think.  We absolutely enjoy every minute of it.

So if you are like us, and are tired of liberals judging us by the color of our necks, then you just might enjoy this

                                                                          new addition to our site!

                                                                      -Yours for the outdoors, Ted

The Making of a Man

While we realize that there is more to Christian manhood than grit, toughness,  and gun ownership, we also believe that this society is trying to femanize American males.  Oprah and Dr. Phil are turning this generation into a bunch of sissies.  We would rather see our boy in the great outdoors than sitting at home becoming a limp-wrist! There is an old saying I like to use - "Teach your boy to hunt, and you won't have to go hunting for your boy."

                           Girls and Guns

In the modern world we are living in, women are not expected to perform basic life skills as all women were in every previous century.  There was a time when mom and the girls helped work the fields, milk the cows, and a host of other duties the modern woman knows nothing about. At one time, all women could handle a gun, take care of a horse and split wood.  When dinner depended on the day's game, a lot more women were more skilled in hunting than the comman man today. Nowadays, the toughest hunt the average woman has ever been on has been a Christmas shopping trip the day after Thanksgiving!  Self defense in a wicked world has also become an issue that causes women to need basic survival skills.  While we understand the duties of Christian ladies are often related to what many call femanine, we also know that femanine does not mean helpless!  You do what you want, but our ladies are all learning to be proficient with a variety of different types of weapons. In addition, the girls all love to ride horses.
