a. This is the first documented case of textual criticism.
b. Satan’s first attack on man was actually an attack on man’s guidebook, lamp, and sword, etc. Satan knew that to defeat man he must attack God’s words.

a. This Scripture clearly shows us that it must be Satan who authors the Bible version confusion.
b. There is confusion as to which Bible to use.
c. There is confusion as to whether we really have a perfect Bible.
d. This confusion is further perpetuated when a multiplicity of versions are used in a church service or Sunday school classroom setting.

a. The words of our Lord reveal to us the present character of Satan based upon his track record of being found a liar and the father of lies. Jesus is teaching that Satan is still a liar.
b. Certainly no one would argue that Satan “got religion” or “reformed” himself.
***To say that Satan is not involved in the new versions is absolutely ludicrous.
