Verses that Teach Preservation
There was a day when a man was considered a liberal or worse if he believed God had inspired His Word, but did not preserve it. It is no wonder why, when the Bible is full of verses that teach the doctrine of divine preservation. A Bibliology, doctrinal statement, or thesis on the scriptures that does not include preservation is at the least highly suspect. I have often wondered what good it would have done for God to inspire a huge book to mankind because He want's so badly to comunicate His truth to us, and then not have the power to protect and preserve it from the attack of Satan. Did God fail to consider the attack of Satan? That's not the God I know, and it's not the God of the Bible. Those that say the Bible does not teach the doctrine of preservation have a huge problem. Some day the Word of God they criticized will be their judge!
